Dr. Jaka Vadnjal holds a Master’s degree and a PhD from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana and is an independent business and entrepreneurship consultant and lecturer. From June 2015 to December 2019, he was the President of the Management Board of Hranilnica LON, d.d., Kranj. From 2006 to 2015, he was an employee of GEA College – Faculty of Entrepreneurship. From 2012 to 2015, he was Dean of the Faculty and obtained the permanent title of full professor. He has also lectured at other faculties abroad and at home, and from the academic year 2019/20 also at the VŠR College of Accounting and Finance. He has delivered a number of training courses and workshops for various audiences, both domestically and internationally. He has also been Deputy Director of JAPTI. He also has entrepreneurial experience and has advised a number of SMEs on business strategy, restructuring and family entrepreneurship, as well as several governments in South East Europe on creating an enabling environment for entrepreneurship and its financing. In addition to his management experience, he has also served several terms on several supervisory boards, boards of directors and several expert bodies at home and abroad.
