Dr. Marjeta Horjak completed her Master’s degree in 2004 with a Master’s research thesis on the impact of secure information technology on the economic performance of companies. Later, she enrolled at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, information and management sciences major, and completed her PhD in 2012 with the thesis Electronic archives in the function of permanent and historical preservation. She works professionally in the field of information technology, more specifically in the field of data protection. Throughout more than 30 years of work experience, especially as a commercial and technical manager, she has been closely linked to the sales process. She also combines her acquired knowledge, research results and work experience in her academic work. As an author of professional and scientific articles in the field of information security and document management and storage, she actively participates in international conferences and lectures.
