Dr. Bojan Dobovšek is a senior lecturer, full professor of criminology at the Faculty of Security Sciences, University of Maribor. He has been a Fellow of the University of Würzburg, Institute of Political Science and lectured at the Faculty of Law, Ghent University, Belgium. He is the author of numerous books and organiser of conferences on organised crime and corruption both at home and abroad. He has been involved in research for the Council of Europe, OECD, Transparency International, United Nations and is a Fellow of the BKA Organised Crime Group in Germany. He is a lecturer at the postgraduate level at the Faculty of Law in Sarajevo, and has worked at faculties in the EU and the Balkans.
